InfoPass - U.S. Immigration Appointment System
InfoPass is a free online service, which allows you to book an appointment with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The InfoPass service was created for handling immigration issues, which require the full attention of a well-trained USCIS Immigration Officer. Through this service you will be able to schedule an appointment in person with a specialist, instead of having to go to the local USCIS office to request it.
Types of most common issues in regards to this service:
- Permanent resident (Green Card holders) questions
- Citizenship queries
- Aiding a family member receive a Green Card
USCIS InfoPass Appointment Instructions
The government website has enabled this service in 12 languages. The first step to booking an appointment is choosing your language from the official website:
- English
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- French
- Russian
- Polish
- Arabic
- Korean
- Chinese
- Vietnamese
- Tagalog
- Esperanto
After selecting your language follow these simple steps to make the appointment:
- Click on “Make an appointment”
- Fill in your mailing address
- Important: Select the type of appointment you wish to make, considering the problem you have
- Fill in the required personal data
- Select the most convenient date and time for your appointment
Note: New times and dates are available every day. If none of the current suggestions fit your schedule, come back tomorrow and you might find a more appropriate option.
After the successful booking of your appointment, a notification will appear on your screen. Remember to print this notification and have it with you on the InfoPass appointment.
What are the required documents for the appointment?
It is strongly recommended to acquire yourself with the following instructions as it is very important to bring documents, which identificate you and the situation you are having difficulties with:
- The InfoPass confirmation
- Any official identification document such as: passport; photo ID card; driver's license
- Your Green Card (if permanent resident), if not - your Employment authorization document for the I-551 Form
- Form I-94, Arrival-Departure record
Note: If your Arrival-Departure record has no identification photo attached to it, then the form must be accompanied by a copy of your passport or ID, where your name and face are clearly visible.
+- Any other official documentation that directly (or indirectly) relates to your issue.
Cancel/Reschedule the InfoPass appointment
You may reschedule or cancel your appointment with no penalty fees applied. However, you should not book a meeting, unless you have a somewhat clarity in regards to your availability. The changes can be applied via the identification numbers, written on the bottom the the confirmation notice.
In case you have lost the confirmation notice, you may require a replacement by accessing the InfoPass portal and entering the security information asked.
