InfoPass is an online appointment scheduling service run by USCIS . InfoPass allows applicants with complex questions about immigration to schedule appointments to come to a USCIS office and speak directly with an immigration information officer about their case and so on.
InfoPass helps ensure that people get the opportunity to talk to an immigration officer about their case without having to line up at a USCIS office before dawn. Because of the overwhelming demand, many people were turned away from USCIS offices without having the chance to speak to anyone. Thanks to InfoPass people can schedule their appointments for a date and time that is convenient for them.
InfoPass is currently available in twelve (12) languages, and appointments are usually available within two weeks. Once the user provides all required information (for example name, date of birth, phone number, zip code, and type of appointment) and selects the preferred date and time for the meeting, Infopass will generate an electronic appointment notice, which will appear on the screen.
